That was pretty funny. Is the homeless man part of the story for real?
Promotions aren't cheap even if we in-house a lot of the work. In reality the car is bought rather than rented because it's cheaper to buy it. Renting the car for one race is over 20k. The old car was not suitable for a world championship race so it was traded in and we made up the difference. The new one will be wrapped and it's first race is in Monaco in January and Croatia in April, plus numerous small races. Whether we do more championship races depends on the type of coverage we'll see after Monaco. Reality is we don't have millions to throw into marketing in every country like some competitors do. We have to get creative with what we have and focus on a few regions, then spread out as we start seeing invitations and opportunities.
