This is a monetized site. All images and content from other parts of the internet should be sourced. There are other reasons. For one, it's assumed that anything posted here is original content. When someone posts images from Pixabay with no source then curators and voters assume that they were created by the poster. Voters figure hey there's an image, there's a lot of photographers on Hive, therefore the image must have been taken or made by the post writer. If they see a source, they know that's not the case. If they don't see the source they'll typically do a reverse image search and then figure someone is trying to defraud them. That's how your post got reported. Not adding sources makes no sense. Why would anyone deliberately exclude the source of an image and mislead a curator?
