Today is May 9th here, beyond that elsewhere. It marks Victory Day when the Nazis were defeated and their spread of filth was finally halted.

I don't have photos of my grandfathers who fought or of other relatives who were murdered by the Nazis. I don't have their medals, some of which were stolen after the war. All I have left is a few stories that I will pass on.

There's no real good way to celebrate Victory Day. Doesn't matter what day yours falls on, yesterday May 8th or today May 9th.

What this is is a room with mirrors and a few candles. There's millions of lights. It's the children's memorial, part of the Holocaust museum. When you enter that room it fucks you up. Been there myself. This is what we stopped when we won the war.
