I know the title of this blog has probably got some of your backs ups. And I can already hear you screaming "how dare he do that doesn't he know that he will be going to hell?!"
Let me put your minds at ease. Sure it's true that I have turned my back on religion but I have turned instead to FAITH.
What's the difference you may ask? I'll tell you the cold hard truth. Many of you will want to argue I'm sure because you have been brainwashed by false teaching.
Religion has been so watered down and polluted with corruption. Religion teaches more ritual than truth. There is more time spent each service doing routine rituals and less time teaching the truth. Some churches even have their congregation praying to false gods. FIRST COMMANDMENT THOU SHALT NOT HAVE ANY OTHER GOD BEFORE ME. Sorry but I pray to the one and only God, My Heavenly Father. This brings me to another commandment that Jesus gave us Matthew 23:8-12 which says CALL NO MAN FATHER EXCEPT GOD IN HEAVEN. So no matter how you try rationalize it if you are calling anyone on Earth father, dad, rabbi, teacher or anything of the like even sir or master then you are breaking a commandment given by Jesus Himself.
Religion is the cause of many wars because they insisted on converting people by force and this is what Jesus hates (Revelation 2:15).
Also I see so many Sunday Christians. On Sunday they are all Holy and moved with the spirit then once the service is over they go home toss their bible on the corner table. Pop open a beer, pull out a cigarette, put on the game and forget everything that was said in church. The leaders of the church just aren't on fire for the Lord so they make no impact.
Speaking of church on Sunday. God sanctified the 7th day as the Sabbath not the first day. Since when does the church have dominion over God?
I am now turning away from religion. I am walking in the Faith of Jesus Christ. Following his teaching. He said to plant the seed of Christianity if it is accepted then teach and help them grow in faith. If it is rejected then leave and brush the dirt from your feet because you are no longer responsible for them. I don't believe on converting by force. All organized religions are guilty of this. Jesus taught love and compassion. And the greatest love was His suffering and dieing on the cross. Then raising from the dead to give us a direct way to the Father and His kingdom.
God loves you all and I too love you through the power Jesus Christ.
