I was working in my shop when I heard an explosian and the lights went out. My shop is in my front yard on it's own power supply. My wife also heard the boom and called me to see if I was alright. Of course I was but just left in the dark.
I went outside to look around to see what had happened when I saw this.
A bird had decided to land on the wrong place and blew the transformer. We had to jump through hoops to convince our power company that we lost power due to no fault of our own. Now to wait and see how long it takes for them to come and fix it.
