Finding your Focus in this Crazy Crypto World - My Personal Roadmap
I used to dabble in Steemit a few years ago, but as the value of the currency dropped along with Bitcoin I have to admit I lost interest a little and moved on to other things. Since then a lot has changed. I was a Steemit user before Hive, so to come back to the fold and see how things have changed is mind-blowing.
There's a whole new infrastructure, with communities springing up everywhere. i'm loving Travelfeed, it gives me a focus for posting, and allows me to share my photo collection, and stories of my travels whilst earning some crypto.
IRL two of my biggest biggest loves are pizza and beer, so I'm delighted to see that there are communities and tokens that I can engage with. #beersaturday will be a highlight of my Hive week for sure!
The whole DeFi thing has been a revelation for me, it's fascinating how you can invest a little of your funds and see it grow day by day, or even minute by minute. I'm especially interested in Cub Finance, with it's links to the Hive infrastructure through LeoFinance, it seems like something really special in addition to everything else that's going on.

My Plan Going Forwards
At the moment I'm a lowly minnow, but with aspirations to try and develop a passive income from all of whats going on, so here's where I'm at, and how I'm taking it all forwards. I'm sure in a month it will all change but...
Steemit - I had some funds over there. I've been powering down over the last month, and shifting it all over here. It's been a little bit of a learning curve, working out how to send currency to Hive Engine, to then sell the SWAP.STEEM, to send back to Hive and power up my HP. I'm on about 1.2K now, which I'm happy with at the moment.
Posting - What I find great about Hive is that it works on two levels, you can post regularly and earn crypto, so in a way it's like mining Bitcoin, only your using your time, knowledge and personality, and burning less of the planet along the way. There's also the community aspect, you get to meet people, chat, and learn a lot along the way. Just over the last month I seriously levelled up my crypto-knowledge. I'm looking forwards to seeing how I level up in the future. I'm currently posting a couple of times a day, That's probably more than I want to do, there's a balance between contributing and spamming I'm sure!
Delegating HP - I've been trying to find a suitable place to delegate by HP, I've looked at 
Cub Finance - This is looking very interesting, I'm hoping that this has legs, and will be a tool to utilise in the long term. I've been reading a lot of posts from people who have a lot of trust in the people behind this system, and decided to give it a go. I followed this excellent post from 
So going forwards, at the moment it's all about HIVE & Cub Finance. I'm looking at building my profile on Hive through posting, engaging, and generally trying to add value. Through this I will generate some HIVE / LEO income. Some of this will stay, boosting my HP. Some of this will be transferred from LEO, through bLEO into Cub Finance, to be added to my Farm.
At some point in the future I'll be able to pull some of this out as fiat, to pay the bills. Baby steps though...
