Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse is the main drag through the alternative district of Südvorstadt,to the even more alternative district of Connewitz.

After reunification many of the plans for industrial Leipzig faltered and were cancelled, areas became vacant and the squatters and needy moved in.

Over the last 10 years the area has started to become gentrified and the "unwanted" squeezed, into small areas, Leipzig it is said has become Hypezig as the trendy hipsters move in. Good or bad?
