I didn’t really enjoy this place; once into the body of the building it was pitch black and I’m not a lover of using flash tbh.

It just wasn’t a comfortable place to wander and it failed to throw up any real treasure. It had an atmosphere, it was cold, it was pitch black.

A) now do I keep it real?

B) Or do I go all goontubery with “real” tales of ghosts hauntings murders and other such bollocks?

The kitchen, well in fact all rooms were quite big, but especially the kitchen.

It was simply; empty

Oooer look at that ghostly thing under the halo of light, I knew I needed to make this place more exciting.

A couple of fireplaces no signs of recent use.

A couple of old newspapers, the oldest from 1991, the newest probably 10 years younger, judging by the dates of advertised tv programmes, and I’m not sure when the delightful Miss O’Neale was getting her baps out for the sad and lonely.

No Walter wall carpet on the stairs, I remember growing up this was en vogue, just carpet central on highly white glossed steps.

I saw the sign.
I looked inside.
The name is pretty apt.

So that was it, the trek back to the car took longer than the mooch.
