Nestled on a rather large and rolling estate sat Brogynton Hall, a tour bus venue,now completely renovated for yuppie flats ( they would call them apartments: I call them flats).
Deeper into the estate through some woods is home farm, consisting of a number of buildings built in the late 19th century.
The farm itself is pretty gutted bare walls, fresh plasterboard, boring. Nothing to get even a semi over.
The old mill had some nice bits, but even that was pretty sanitised to be honest
At least it was decent lighting, I hate using flash, genuine remnants of a bygone age, do though seem strangely posed.
Big old drive wheels in the basement,no evidence of a water source remains
A big old shippon, looks like the upper floor has been removed, can’t see why the roof would be so high unless it was a menagerie for oversized giraffes
Some nice bits in here but again so sterile, clean and probably under renovation, yes I did rest my weary bones, yes it was very very comfy and relaxing,in a Jed Clampett sort of way
This strange building gave me the impression of being a small chapel
Along with what looks very much like a burial mound outside it
