You know when you are driving along the road, and you spy a “for sale by auction sign”, sticking out of an overgrown hedge, you get that tiny injection of Adrenalin, the pulse quickens and you feel your heart beat.
The question one asks oneself is “where the fuck do I park up?”.
On this occasion it was only about a half mile walk back, nice sunny day no problem.
Hmmmm! Barbed wire entwined across the double gate, have I really got to climb through that bloody hedge, yup guess so. Hope it’s worth it!
It was! In fact it was easier to squeeze through a missing basement window pane than a thorny hedge!
Through the basement to the attic, so much to enjoy so much treasure. The doll was a bit eerie when the torch found it.
The hallway was pretty impressive as were the family portraits which were in many rooms
Ancient documents envelopes and newspapers always intrigue me of lives once lived
Items once used now gathering dust
