FFS I have only just got here. Local and National Governments in some area of europe have started to take a dislike to the income stream tourism brings to their regions. The local populations in these areas (usually neo-marxists), seem to be happy taking free money from the socialist eu union....but not from tourists. But to balance this up there are counter protests welcoming said tourists, I guess it depends upon where you sit on the fence politically.
