I think next year is the year my daughter is destined to come home with a recorder... I'm less than excited. I can still hear the flat notes of hot cross buns from my own childhood... However, I have to imagine that if you play one there surely must be some skill one can develop with some practice? Maybe I will be surprised yet :)
