Hi Asean Hivers! I hope all are good. Another venture with the family, not camping at the desert lake this time, but it's a sea venture. My husband books a dinner at Dubai Marina Bay Jumeirah with my son, daughter-in-law and nephew. It was a luxury buffet dinner cruise.
As we approached the ship, there were some cheering squad girls welcoming the guests, they let you pose and take some shots. It's up to you how many poses you like then you can go up to the ship. The cheering squad girls flare up in motion shaking their pompoms with so much energy. I was stunned, it's just like we're celebrities having a grand entrance.
Before we found our seats we did a lot of pictorials, we grabbed this opportunity because only a few people were still on the ship, we could pose at every corner ever we wanted.
My husband took our selfie, but our son captured this moment. I can see in the picture I instructed my husband to get the right angle so that we could have a nice view of our back. This is our selfie, our background was blurred, lol. After these pictorials, we had to find a good spot to settle. We go up to the second deck, and there we find a table good for us.
As the ship set sail, the Dubai skyline glowed in the distance. Its towering structures cast a mesmerizing reflection on the water as we set off for an evening indulgence. We knew we were in for an unforgettable night.
The dinner cruise promised a lavish spread of Indian, Pakistan and Arabic delicacies. The food was great, but I had to choose something that suited my tastes< Each dish bursting with rich flavors and spices. They are offering decadent sweets that are paired with an unlimited flow of coffee and tea. They also offer unlimited liquor.
The live show added excitement to the cruise. The Aerial Hoop where there is circular steel and the artist performs aerial acrobats. I was amazed by these artists. They performed very well, and all the guests were shouting and cheering when they did acrobatic stunts. When we were out at the marina area, there were some announcements from the Captain. Because of the strong winds and waves, we couldn't sail to the Burj Al Arab area, so we just roam around The Palm Jumeirah and JBR area. Some of the performances were also canceled but we didn't mind that thing, as long as there was music that made us dance while sailing. The cruise was just as thrilling, with the waves making us feel connected to the sea.
We went up to the upper deck of the ship. Guests were singing and dancing while they were holding their beers and wines. We stayed there jamming to the beat of the music. One of the exciting moments came when we approached the bridge. Everyone stretched their arms high to the bridge as we passed beneath. While my family reached for the bridge, I captured the moment that we were there I just stood back because I was too short to reach. But watching their excitement was just as fulfilling.
As our ship was going back to Marina Bay, we drank some wine and beer and continued to chill and enjoy the night. The gleaming skyline and water shimmering were wonderful as we passed by. It was a night full of happiness, delicious food, and precious moments with family. Despite the winds and waves, our experience was nothing sort of extraordinary.
