Philippians 3: 12-14 King James Version (RVR1960)

12 It is not that I have already achieved it, or that it is already perfect; but I continue, to see if I can capture what I was also captured by Jesus Christ. 13 Brothers, I do not claim to have achieved it myself; but one thing I do: forgetting certainly what lies behind and reaching out to what lies ahead, 14 I continue towards the goal, to the prize of the supreme call of God in Christ Jesus.

In truth, it is that we all have personal goals, such as studying, having a professional title, getting married and having a beautiful home, having a well-paid job and that our children are the best in everything.

These are very personal goals that you can achieve as a person. However, life does not consist of the goods that we can possess, life is hidden in Christ.

This is why the Apostle Paul said: "I keep moving towards the goal, the prize of the supreme call of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14).

Paul's goal was well defined, it was not a material goal, but a spiritual goal, Christ.

Today we are closer to that goal than when we converted to the Lord. The order we have is "to pursue that goal". It doesn't matter how many years, days, months; what matters is to continue and advance above all difficulties until our goal, which is Christ, appears like a lightning bolt illuminating the heavens and opening arms for his bride, who is the church.

I invite you, dear brother, not to abandon the race, but to continue the supreme call that we have in Christ Jesus.
