This is my entry to the Photo Quest competition color splash photography. It is a macro image of a hibiscus I love. The colors and hues here are so striking that I wanted to enter it as my main image for this contest. These huge Hawaiian hibiscus are show stoppers and conversation starters. I hope it does something here as I am new.
This second image of poinsettia taken a few years back is another splash of color. The focus is on the actual flower and the bracts serve as a colorful background.
I hope these are colorful enough for this contest. This is so much fun and I hope there will be more of these here at #qurator.
Thanks for the opportunity.
