Yes, it sounds a little strange. Yes, I was traveling in Florida and yes, I visited the graveyard.
I searched for cool, off the beaten track places around the Cape Canaveral area and came across a recommendation to visit this Georgina cemetery. It is situated next to the Crooked mile road on a Merritt island.
This cemetery dates back to the 18th century and is one of the oldest in the area. It's also rich in history. Many of the people buried there were victims of murder.
Ethel Allen is the name of a girl who was brutally murdered when she was 19 years old and the body was found on the nearby riverbank. The case is still a mystery and unsolved. The grave is in this cemetery.
This cemetery is also considered the most haunted one in Florida. Numerous unusual reports have been made in this area.

It sounds like an eerie place for me.
When we were there, the weather was great, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and the graveyard looked beautiful.
Now if I imagine dark weather, nearby thunderstorm, and rain there. I can't lie, even though I don't believe in ghosts and supernatural forces, being there with these conditions would creep me out.

The strange thing I saw was that some people have already set up their gravestones when they are currently living. Maybe it's not uncommon there but for me it's strange.
Anyway, it was a cool experience to visit Georgina cemetery, its something that 99% of the tourists won't do. People don't even know about this place because it's not listed in " BEST PLACES TO VISIT IN FLORIDA" posts. I had to dig deep in the internet to find it.
