Yesterday I accidentally stumbled upon a hedgehog that was roaming around in my garden. Probably tried to find some berries to eat. I didn't have any good shots of hedgehogs so first I ran to another room to pick my camera. Really fast I changed the lens for telephoto one to get a shot even if I'm far away. About 30 se3conds passed and fortunately, the hedgehog was still there. I took some shots but they were not good. I decided to move closer. When I reached the bushes I crouched down, to my surprise the hedgehog came out of the bush straight towards me like he didn't feel any fear. I desperately tried to get a shot but I failed because my lens was switched in a mode where I cant focus object closer than 3 meters. At this point, It didn't come to my mind that I have to flip a switch. Instead all these 25 seconds I had a great chance I swore and thought why the fuck can't I focus it.
After that, the hedgehog went back to bushes and stayed in on place. Fortunately, he wasn't too deep and I could still get a shot of him. At this time I had already realized my mistake and I flipped the switch lol :D
Here are some shots I took. Look how cute!
