This is the last post I'm gonna write about this winter here. It is a spring for some time now and it is time to leave the cold days behind .
On 31st March I was in my girlfriends country house where we celebrated Easter holiday. In the evening we went for a little walk and decided to check out the nearby sea. When we arrived, to my surprise scenery was absolutely surreal. Sea was fully frozen + sunset made everything look golden and stunning.
This place is located in Eastern Estonia and the high coastline is present there. When up there, this gives you the opportunity to see this endless sea much better from there.
You can notice in the photo that there is a pile-up of ice running parallel to the coast. This has formed when the water was not frozen and waves had pushed some ice to the beach.
Of course, we hiked our way down there, to get a closer look of the pileup and to be on the ice. Took some more shots of the line up close.
It is unreal how calm and quiet there was. No wind was blowing at the time, you could hear nothing except us talking and when standing still you could literally hear the blood flowing in your ears.
Sometimes when planes flew by you could hear the jet engines as well.

And me, enjoying the silence and scenery
Now it was getting dark and we needed to get the hell out of there, it is hard to find a way back up the cliff in the dark.
These cliffs are mostly sand and these are getting destroyed pretty fast. Big chunks of the coast are falling down with the trees.
