There's always a price to pay for anything in life. And to have an exceptionally wealthy life, will definitely come at a cost too. And in most cases, the sacrifice is in direct proportion to the level of greatness you want to attain in that business you're going into. Small gains, small sacrifices. Huge gains, huge sacrifices.
In as much as we want to have it all. It's mostly impossible, we have to make a choice. You can't be spending your entire day having fun, watching nice movies and playing video games; and at the same time, you want to be the greatest or be excellent at what you do. The way to the top isn't an easy one, to put it softly. It's a journey of hard work, pain and sacrifices.
A major reason why many fail to achieve success is simply because they underrate success. They think it cheap. Well, I tell you that's the first thing to do, if you want to end up unsuccessful. You have to give respect to what is worth respecting. And being successful is worth respecting. It comes at a huge price. Every successful person pays the price.
Except the wealth was inherited; and in that case, the person who created the wealth must have paid the price for the younger generation to come enjoy the life he/she had labored for. In the world of economics, this is called opportunity cost. This is the benefit you have to forgo for not choosing a particular option.
To be really great in this life, at the beginning you will have to give yourself completely to your business. It has to be the main thing and most important thing in your mind. You may have to sacrifice time that you would have used to play with friends and family for your business. You will have to deny yourself of certain luxuries just to save up capital. You'll have to pay the price for success.
If you choose pleasure before business, there's a very high tendency that you'll become unsuccessful. So don't make that choice. Rather choose business before pleasure. These sacrifices will be made at the early stages. If you pay the price at a younger age, you'll come to enjoy the benefits in the future. And if you've achieved the success you wanted, then you can create time to do whatever you want; as you have already made yourself wealthy by the early choices and sacrifices you made.
