It's becoming tough for many people to get their posts and comments to pay out. 2 cents used to be nothing.... now it's often a massive hurdle for those of us who don't have much Steem. A lot of people bought in a year or two ago, and have lost almost everything. Now we can't even get our posts to pay out, meaning we can't get paid, meaning our upvotes will continue to be almost worthless. The poor get poorer.
