This is year there were no party, no alcohol or bar hopping but more meaningful. I’m at the office during the “Salubong” of my birthday and yes I like it there. My office friends plan very simple surprise with a cupcake, card and balloons. I’m super happy with it. Maybe you have this idea it just so simple but the act of them thinking what would me happy for my special day is already an effort. For the past weeks I felt so down and sad. I never felt this lonely in my whole existence. Yes, I’ve been suffering with depression for several years now but I will never be defeated with this. I appreciate people who keeps my smile on face.
After shift we ate at “Heaven’s Barbeque”
At a very young age I was exposed with people who take advantage of me and what I can do for them. I always pray to God to give me real friends. I’m very thankful for my current work not just because it pays the bills but give a bonus of having real friends.
