I am a follower of #frugallady. One of her recent posts stated she would post a scripture for the day. I am taking her idea and running with it. Scripture is a daily part of my life. My life has been so enriched by the daily connection to the Heavenly Father. So often, a scripture is so timely, being just what we need at that very moment. This is one of those.
Psalm 11:3 When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?
This speaks to me right now, because our world is in such turmoil. Rioters are causing chaos and spreading violence against the very foundations of our society. They claim that they are for freedom, tolerance, and democracy, but if an opposing opinion differs from their way of thinking, they riot. It is as if they believe their destructive behavior is suddenly gonna make us go "Oh, NOW I get it. Yes, I will change my opinion and embrace their way of thinking."
SMH. What am I gonna do? Having done all to stand, stand.
