Goodmorning lovers of crochet work, it is already a beautiful day and a lovely money making monday at that, this is me sharing my lovely coaster knitting with you all. Making this snow flake coaster has shown me a lot of new ways to make things like this.

I am going to make a know with the green wool so that I can start my worn and also that it will not loose along the line while I am working.

I will go by making a magic circle and inside the magic circle I will put sixteen double crochet inside it.
After that I will pull the left over wool tightly so that it will give me a perfect circle shape.
I will put another row still using the green colour wool. I will repeat the row by making a double of the sixteen double crochet, which will eventually give me thirty two double crochet. Then I will slip stitch and close that row.
I will not switched to the white wool which I will also start with a knot before putting it inbetween the green wool.
It will now be 2:1, that is sfter two double crochet in each spacing I will put one double crochet and that will give me an additional 26 double crochet in addition to the 32 double crochet making it 48 double crochet.
I will now switched to the green wool again and this time for the purpose of doing some petals. I will do four chain and then a slip stich in the third spacing. Like that I will archive a total of 26 spacing.
I will start putting the petrels, a combination of one halve double crochet, four double crochet, two chain, four double crochet and a halve double crochet. Then I will use a slip stitch to pass the next space to the next one to put another petals.
Doing this I will have a total of eight petals.
To make the petals looks like a star I had to switch to the white wool. In the spacing of the two chain I will put my knitting pin, I will go with three chain, a slip stitch, five chin, a slip stitch, lastly another three chain and a slip stitch.
I will do an extra four chain to go down to the middle of the petals. I will put the knitting pin on the row that is white wool and then bring it out, I will do another four chain to move to the next petals.
Like that till the end I was able to get a sweet snow flak coster flakes .
