Day to day
This is not an easy thing to discuss as I am still figuring it out. The conventional wisdom of the world says to work hard doing something you may not love and you will be rewarded. But, many of us are seeing this old model as obsolete, choosing to find ways to enliven our lives and live comfortably while not bankrupting our souls. The path to freedom is not always easy if a less conventional approach is taken.
My own path that I have been exploring the past 8 months now has been an exercise in trust. Society would dub me "homeless". I am not working at a conventional job and have elected to live in a really minimal way camping outside and accepting unconditional assistance from others as I have traveled from the US to Mexico and beyond.
Living like this has brought to light my own fears around lack. It has also thrown me into a multitude of emotional states, that when you do not have a home to return to, can be challenging to deal with "living out".
I want to get to a place where I can be self sufficient. This is why I am highly interested in Steem. It offers the potential for me to promote #minimalism and #simplicity, #gratitude and other themes I am strongly engaged with while generating income to support my prefered way of living. I will continue to learn and share on #steem and hope that I will find the support I seek here.
