Hello everyone!

Hope your day is going well? I would like to share with you the beauty and Elegance of Yoruba Culture. Weddings in my tribe is a glamorous and elaborate event. Everyone comes in their A game, from the guest to family and the couples.

The groom wears a wide traditional flowing rope known as 'Agbada '. The fabric is called Aso Oke: locally woven with fine and special thread in different colors with fine embroidery around the neck and chest.

Beneath the Agbada (flowing rope). The groom wears a matching buba(long sleeve shirt) and sokoto (trousers) tailored to fit him. On his head, a matching Fila( cap) angled stylishly.. it symbolizes respect, maturity and leadership.

A groom in Agbada gives aura of confident posture, maturity , masculinity , heritage ,love, culture and readiness for marital journey.

Thank you so much for reading. Do have a splendid day.
