Hello Hivers. How is everyone doing?
Thanks for your support on my first post..well appreciated. I would like to share another travel experience with you all. I am introverted but my best friend is an extrovert and an adventure junkie. When she suggested that we should tour Dubai and Abu Dhabi, i was feeling reluctant. She took the choice from me by planning our itinerary.
All i had to do was to make myself available at the airport. The trip turned out to be the best i have ever experienced so far. It was precious because my bestie is a great companion that brought out the adventure side of me.
Our first stop was Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.. located within the huge Dubai Mall. We passed through the glass tunnel filled with sharks and other fascinating marine/aquatic creatures. There was even the option of swimming with the marines. We were not brave enough to do it. It was really a thrilling experience, we felt like we were in another world.
Our next tour was IFly! An indoor skydiving experience where we were able to fly without wings. I must confess, it wasn't an easy experience for me but i ended up enjoying it thoroughly. I'm really glad i left my comfort zone.
We visited Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi. It was so enormous with regal elegance. Showcasing the rich Arab Culture. I have no words for the beauty. I ensured that i captured some beautiful pictures.
We also visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi . I observed that Abu Dhabi is more conservative than Dubai .All female tourist were provided a long robe to wear. The mosque was breathtaking and exquisite. We made a new friend from America while we were on the line.
Our last tour in Abu Dhabi was Ferrari World! We have tons of fun. We played games, cave hunt and we saw
models of Ferrari cars. And finally we rode the longest rollercoaster in the world. It was the biggest adrenaline rush..it scary and exciting at the same time.
Then on to, Dessert Safari..we first stopped to snack and watch Quad bikers then proceeded to ride through the desert sand for a few minutes with other tourists..i had to hold on to the front seat..we finally got on Camel ride and fully enjoyed the Safari experience. We enjoyed the henna art, belly dancing and Arabian food and some magic tricks.It was so entertaining and beautiful to watch. We also met some wonderful ladies.
The next day was for Hot air balloon, i didn't care for it but my best friend went ahead to do it, while i rested in our hotel room . Then the afternoon was meant for zip lining..yours truly developed a cold feet but my bestie nailed it like a Champion.
We finally went to Jumeirah beach Jet Ski.. Sadly i couldn't capture the moment but we had a good time. My friend also tried fly boarding..it was tedious, she finally was able to do it after so many failed attempts.. After all these activities, we finally relax on the beach and watch the waves.
Having my best friend with me made the whole trip spectacular and each moment brighter. All in one UAE gave us unforgettable experience. It was a great adventure!
