Hello friends, how are you doing today?

Here is me talking about food again and I feel happy 馃槀. I love food, like it makes me happy. After language, food is a great way to display the culture of people. It is easier to identify where someone is from just by what they eat.

So yesterday I just got back home. I was tired of eating junk and eating student food 馃ぃ. If you are a student you will understand, like everyday rice and bread. I decided to visit home although I did not stay so long. I got back home like a surprise and my mum was not happy that I didn't tell her so she would prepare food because she knows how hungry I will be. She asked me to fry yam at home. I told her I didn't want to eat that.
I buy all these fries in school and I am tired already. I just had to eat bread.
This morning she went to the market and prepared me egusi soup with vegetable. Here comes the native soup. I wouldn't help but eat so we'll because I miss this and from my mum, it is exceptional. Today I enjoyed eating egusi and it was with vegetables.
I'm from Africa, and the eastern part of my country. Our native food is egusi. It is mostly prepared with bitter leaves and sometimes vegetables.
I would choose my native food every time because I am used to them.I had eaten them since I was a child.
Just like you give a western man eba and egusi it may look strange to them and later start getting used to it
The first day I tasted Italian rice in a restaurant it was good tho. These kinds of food are quite expensive because it takes more experienced people to prepare them. And they can be seen in only big restaurant. I couldn't eat them all that day because it was my first time. I still want to try more when I have money to visit those restaurant and go for a vacation outside my country. It's more like an adventure testing the western foods.
