"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast". Ephesians 2:8-9
Hello Family!
I want to share to you of what I have learned today at church.
Are you dead or alive? A question stuck in my mind when our pastor asked us. Am I alive in Christ or still dead? Am I doing the things that glorify and honor God? Through the love and sacrifice of Christ on the cross, God made us alive with Him and we are His own workmanship. God says, "You are mine!" "You are precious!"
Every month we have a series in our church to talk about or to be the main topic for the said month. For the month of March we have "The Great Exchange".
Today, we are now in our 3rd week and it's about Death to Life. A quote from Every Nation says, "Jesus has brought us from our deadness of sin to fullness of life in Christ".
We are no longer dead but alive in Christ from the moment we accept, trust and believe Jesus Christ in our hearts.
Good works is not a license for us to get to heaven with Christ, instead it is a manifestation or a proof that we are in Christ if we do good works. Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.
Our small group after the service; where we share what we have learn from the preaching and to encourage one another as well. To build and uplift each other to Christ. Indeed, it was such a blessed Sunday!
This is a question which I want to leave with you guys today! A question that I asked myself; Did I show how much I appreciate God for giving me a beautiful life and for making me stay alive? Words are not enough, and cannot express and measure how God's amazing love, faithfulness, mercy and grace are there for us every day.
At the end of the day, I told God, "Lord, I want to express my appreciation to you through my lifestyle every day,how I live and to serve you with all of my heart and all the days of my life.
Thank you for reading my post. To God be the glory!
