"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. " Matthew 28:19-20
Before Jesus went back to heaven He left this commandment to us; "Go and Make Disciples"
What does "Discipleship" means? Discipleship is the process by which disciples grow in the Lord Jesus Christ and are equipped by the Holy Spirit, who resides in our hearts, to overcome the pressures and trials of this present life and become more and more Christlike.
When I went to college, as a Bible School student; we have this motto in our classroom, it says, "Saved to Serve". Then I tried to ask myself, Lord, why did you chose me? God says "You are Saved to Serve" I want you to be my disciple and serve me through the rest of your life. God reminded me the purpose why He created human is to love, obey and serve Him.
God brought me to Cambodia for one purpose and that is to "Make Disciples". I prayed that God will give me Cambodians who can speak and understand English whom I can disciple and share Christ to them. Sharing the gospel to them is not easy because of the language but God worked and helped through the Holy Spirit to work in their lives.
It's such a joy in mine heart to see them growing and following Christ. Heaven is rejoicing to see people get saved everyday but most importantly God is pleased to see His children following and serving Him. Discipleship doesn't ends here, it's just the beginning of their journey with God and for me as well. Please help me pray for them that they will continue to serve God and more Cambodians will encounter Christ. To God be the glory!
