It's true that since the Advent of steemit, other social media platforms have been shunned by people who make use of steemit.
Facebook in particular has served only the purpose of entertainment and communication in exchange of our money via the data we consume on the platform.
On steemit, I get entertained, i learn, I get inspired and motivated, I communicate with my fellow members and at the same time I earn money. Now I don't know about you but even though I'm still spending on data for steemit I'll pick it over the non profitable Facebook.
Only a few people on Facebook have the ability to utilize it to generate funds but to do this you need lots friends and I doubt it'll be able to match what you can earn on steemit.
All i need to do is to post a worthy writeup, poem or whatever fun article and I'll get paid. Now that's a platform worth spending my time.
I still breeze in and out of Facebook but it's only for the purpose of replying messages. Steemit has come to stay and I pray it keeps on growing and gain more acknowledgement.
