What I regret most I life is not talking financial independence seriously. I wasn't born into a bill gates type of family. My parents tried their best to give me whatever I wanted and I thought that life was served on a platter of gold where you didn't really need to work to hard to become financially independent.
I saw the world as a place where once you're of age, you get a job and every other necessary Thing you need to succeed in life.
Reflecting backwards, I regret that notion I had then because when business opportunities arose, I paid no attention to them and now I realize my mistake. If I had paid attention to those lectures and implemented them, I would've been financially independent by now. Not that it's to late to achieve it, I just wish I had paid more attention to it.
That's my biggest regret in life
