これコンセント差すところじゃないんだ・・・ This is not Electrical outlet ...

先日買い物に行った時のこと、こういうタイプのバッグを見かけました。

その時の息子との会話です。

私「この上の茶色い部分ってコンセント差すとこだよね？」
息「は？どう考えてもデカすぎでしょ！！でもこれなんの為にあるの？」
私「知らん！でもとりあえずコンセント差しとけばよくない？？」
息「うん！とりあえず差しとけばスマホ充電できるんじゃね？」
私「そうかも！便利な世の中になったもんだな〜」
息「そうだね〜」

という何ともくだらないやり取りをしてしまいました😇

My son "What? It is too big for anything !! But why is this because of this?"

What a shitty interaction with my son.

その夜、家に帰ってパソコンに向かっていた時にさっきの会話を思い出し「Google先生」にご教授をお願いしました。

するとこの茶色い部分、なんとコンセントを差すとこではなかったのです！！

当たり前だろ！！！

Then, in this brown part, it was not where you plugged in an Electrical outlet! !

でも同じこと考えてる人はたくさんいました(笑)
中には「ブタ鼻」と呼んでいる人も・・・

言われてみれば確かにそうも見える😇

それはさておき「コイツ」の正体はなんなのか？

その名は「ピッケルホルダー」！！

元々は登山用のバッグなどについていたもので、ピッケルなどバッグに入らない大きな工具をベルトを使って引っかけたりくくりつけるためのものだそうです。
今ではそれがデザインとして残っているのだとか。

こういう普段目にする何気ないデザインのものでもちゃんと意味があるんだなぁと実感させられる出来事でした😊

That name is "Pickle holder"! !
Originally attached to a mountaineering bag etc. It seems to be used for hooking up or tying up a big tool not entering the bag such as Pickle with a belt.
It seems that it remains as a design now.

It was an event that made me realize that something of such casual design that I usually see has meaning properly 😊

ちなみにですがこのバッグはガチで充電できるそうなのでご安心ください(笑)
