The purpose of this weekly series is to recap some of the compelling ideas and concepts across a wide range of disciplines which each and every week in crypto brings to light. This is a wonderful space to explore but also demands a lot of time, effort and focus to actually make some sense of.

It’s important to note that not every idea here reflects my own bias or opinion. If it’s here, it’s because it made me think.

The standout highlight for me this week was discovering the extent of the growth of the lightning network not just in terms of BTC bandwidth but also new applications enabled by the network. This layer 2 solution could have a profound impact on BTC in the coming year(s). I also highly recommend you check out the podcast where a Venezuelan expat unpacks the nation’s increasing use of BTC. The developer’s concise review of EOS is also excellent. I want to go on, but now over to you.
