Hello friends, I hope you are all doing well! Today I’m sharing a drawing of a warrior monk. This piece was created entirely with a fineliner to experiment with a high-contrast style, using vertical lines to create lighter tones. I love the "unfinished" look it gives, it feels like a raw sketch made directly with the pen. To be honest, I also did it this way because I ran out of black markers, haha! But I really liked the result anyway, and I’ll likely create more in this style.

It took me a bit over 40 minutes because hatching those vertical lines is much more time-consuming than simply filling in dark areas with a marker. I hope you enjoy this monk as he leaves his robes behind to become a great and powerful warrior.

Hola amigos, espero esten bien, hoy vengo con un dibujo de un guerrero monje, este dibujo fue hecho completamente con el estilografo para probar como quedaba un dibujo totalmente con tonos oscuros y creando tonos mas claros con las lineas verticales, me gusta que le da una sensacion a que el dibujo no esta totalmente terminado al parecer un boceto hecho dirctamente con el estilografo, la realidad es que tambien lo hice asi porque no tengo ya marcadores negros haha, pero igual el resultato me gusto y probablemente haga otros asi.
en el short que les muestro abajo esta todo el proceso a camara rapida, este dibujo me tomo un poco mas de 40 minutos hacer ya que hacer las lineas verticales toma mas tiempo que si fuera rellenado las zonas oscuras con el marcador. espero les guste este monje que esta dejando sus habitos en el pasado para convertirse en un gran y poderoso guerrero.
