It was such a rewarding section today. Practical session.
Today was practical day and I needed to use a model for it. Since I am new in this area it was difficult to get a model. Thankfully, someone came around and I gathered the courage to ask her to be my model. I was grateful she agreed because it made today's practical a success.
I did a simple but not so simple bridal hair style, it was an up gel and folding with extension. After the hair I dressed her up like a bride and did her make up. I dressed her in traditional attire and took some lovely photos.
I haven't received the official edited pictures yet because the photographer is still working in them . I plan on using them on my social page. but here are a few behind-the-scenes photos of today's work.
The practical session was a reminder that growths comes from showing up, learning and practicing, even when things don't go exactly as planned. It wasn't the easiest day, but it was definitely worth it.
I'm enjoying every step of this journey, and I can't wait to keep improving my bridal hairstyling and makeup skills.
