That sounds like a dude with a problem. The crazy thing about these people who change into a different person when drinking is that they seem completely oblivious about it and refuse to calm down. I walked up to a friend of mine that was acting a fool in a pub here in Da Nang and said to him "dude, you are out of control, someone is going to hurt you if you keep on like this...we should leave" not "you should leave" but he just laughed it off and kept acting foolish. I think that people were not bashing him sort of out of respect for me but eventually I wanted to go home like a sensible human. He ended up getting bashed up by multiple people in that pub about an hour after I left. He has been kicked out of almost everywhere in town and eventually left the city because everyone loathed him.
I hope he sorts his life out, but he is on military disability and this monthly money he gets is not enough to live in the USA but more than enough to be a jackass in developing countries like this one. I feel as though that amount of money is carefully determined so that the people with the issues will go be someone else's problem instead of ending up in jail on taxpayers money in America. Crazy.
I also recall a wedding reception I was at in my 20's where a guy was starting trouble with all the staff and eventually the police got called. Imagine being the guy that ruined your buddy's wedding? That's something that people don't forget. I don't even know the guy's name but I remember that incident and I am sure everyone else that was there does as well.
