There were a bunch of people that got busted in Thailand for fake education visas and the government rolled over on the schools that offered this, as they should. I would like to see your friend get busted for being an idiot sure, but there also needs to be some sort of consequence for the company that knowingly set this up for him. It's them that really broke the law seeing as how your friend wouldn't have even known about this loophole if they hadn't offered it to him.

To me this kind of seems like an undercover cop offering you drugs and then busting you for buying them.
