Yikes... yes that might be one of the worst apartments I have ever seen. years ago, when I was struggling to find a pet-friendly apartment, I went to one that had no elevator and the apartment was on the 4th floor, then we went into the unit and they apparently hadn't bothered to even clean it. The "bedrooms" of which there were two, were simply behind these awful makeshift walls and window-doors that were clearly not part of the original floorplan. The bedrooms were more like closets, not some sort of private space.

Some of the old hotel rooms have installed kitchens in the hallways and there is some crappy sliding glass door that doesn't even go all the way up to the ceiling so that they could call the rooms "apartments" which they clearly are not.
