I don't understand this stuff and it is probably a lot of money just disappearing from public pockets into private hands. I lived in the middle of friggin nowhere in the jungle of Thailand and had to rely on 4g for internet, there was no other choice and exactly zero of it was publicly funded or mandated by the govt.... and it was just fine. If some developing country can pull it off, I think Texas can manage.
