This reminded me of a story parking at a large airport in the United States. Parking at airports is absurdly expensive but I didn't care because the company I worked for was paying for it. I didn't pay as much attention as I should have as to where my parking spot was and when I came back to that airport 2 weeks later I had no idea where my car was. This is not a situation of just going to wander around the lot and see what you can find either. There must have been 20-30 thousand cars there. It took a bit of detective work on the part of the airport going back to my departure date and watching the CCTV footage to find out where my car was. I had to pay for this... well, the company had to.

These days on the rare occasion that I do drive, I am like a crazy person as far as remembering the quadrant where I parked. I'm not going through that again.
