There are a lot of traveling YouTubers where I live, you can see their irritating asses wandering with their camera setups all over town. I have stumbled across some of their videos only to discover that they were straight up lying about almost everything in order to have something controversial to maybe drive up numbers.

The one guy I knew that put a ton of effort into editing and doing interviews and what not did it for about 3 months before he gave up because it was so much work for I think he said just like $10 a month or something. I don't know how the economics of it all works but anyway, i'm not trying to shit on your parade, I read that you are just doing it for another objective anyway. Best of luck .
