all the advisements you see about any strategy as far as this is concerned say to not drink ANY alcohol and I feel like that is just a copout kind of like how if you go to the doctor the first thing they say is to not drink because that will help with your broken shoulder or just anything. I think that it is probably more like the zero alcohol makes it easier to make better choices. Obviously drinking 10 beers like I do is bad no matter how you slice it but the kicker is that on those nights I don't have the motivation to eat something that is good for me and will end up on pizza and chicken wings.
I think there is more than one way to address this but going completely sober isn't something that is on the cards for me.
But stopping for a month or two could be nice. I do know that most of the people who say that they stopped drinking always say it was one of the best decisions that they ever made. For me, I just don't know how I would ever socialize.
