I never really thought to even check about the nutritional information for a bag of dog treats but of course it makes sense that the cheap ones would be just like the cheap snacks for humans - they have the worst ingredients. I wish this had been pointed out to me years ago and I wonder how many people's dogs are ending up with McDoggy McDiseases because of the inferior products.

I guess all vet offices have the healthy snacks for sale but I always just kind of presumed that this was just rip off products because they were so expensive. For now, Nadi loves the cooked chicken so I see no reason to deviate from that.

I was a bit disappointed to find out that her "milky chews" that she loves to have when I take her somewhere like the pool of our building, are just filled with all the nasty crap that she is not supposed to have. SO I will have to investigate a healthy version of that now. Maybe some sort of chicken jerky could work.
