I think when an illness wave hits a community you kind of just need to accept that you are going to get it. I suppose you could go all Covid-era nuts with all the PPE but even then man, it's gonna be on a surface somwewhere like for me, the elevator buttons or the handles of the front door to my building. I find that it is better to just head to a pharmacy and stock up and wait for the inevitable and accept that you are going to get it.
