I'm currently reading Dr. Sleep and it seems really "out there" to me and doesn't really have a great deal to do with the first one. Still though, King has a way of writing that can keep me engaged a lot better than most other authors. The Gunslinger though, yeah, I agree. That was too much. I didn't enjoy it at all but yet many consider it to be his best work!
