far more concise than my article. The only positive thing that I can imagine coming from this is that the corruption aspect of "certain bars being allowed to stay open until 4 and not others" would be eliminated to a certain degree.
However, in places such as Phuket, where corruption runs very deep in the police force. The cops could simply decide to not allow bars to stay open until 4 anyway unless they pay the bribe. You live here I think and you know as well as I do that when you are faced with the police, what the law actually is doesn't matter at all in this country. They are judge and jury right there in front of you.
one of the main things coppers in this country really don't like is when their "tea money" gets threatened.
