that's actually a lot lower than I had thought it might be. I like the 25 cents uptick in prices for midweek bowling. I'm sure they are raking it in from that bump!

thanks buddy... i read your post about being away. it's cool

I want to say that I did read Mr. Mercedes. I'm gonna have to look that one up though.

in relative terms yes, It and the Stand are not new. I recently read a fantasy book of his in the past year or so and it was a pile of hot garbage. Of course it sold like crazy because it's Stephen King.

it's scary. the visuals in my head kept me a bit nervous at night, which is silly because I am not a child and I know that ghosts aren't really in my room.

I also didn't enjoy the Gunslinger books at all. I too feel that his works are hit and miss, especially in the last 20 years. There was a time, in the 80's when everything he wrote was instant gold. I

Good movie, great book. I like a lot of King novels and this one was unusual. It takes a genius like Stephen King to make something like this, which at first glance seems like something that would be boring

I've read almost all of these. Those are good choices. I recommend looking into more Orwell stuff, most notably 1984.

I'm not good at languages, or so I say. I learned Thai and that is considered one of the toughest languages in the world. I guess I was a lot more keen in my 20's or something. These days I really struggle

Filipinos are excellent at English. It's kind of universal from what I have heard from friends. They say that is one of the main advantages to living there.

A friend of mine was recently looking at Malaysia as a place to live. I wasn't listening to everything that he said but there were very attractive options for people as far as long visas are concerned

they must be operating on old information as far as Thailand being ranked higher than VN is concerned. I know loads of people that got fed up and left THailand in the past couple of years.

Puzzles are just one of those things that I would probably do a lot more of if I lived in the western world. Where I live now nobody really has space for such an indulgence. My entire apartment is about

I became really familar with a lot of the stubborn pieces. As i got more of the puzzle done I discovered that it was actually the pattern of the grass that would help me to place the pieces (dark, mid,

oh if I hadn't set my mind to it there would have been no chance Iwould have finished that puzzle.

that's wonderful. I recall a dog that we knew that would know the sound of my dad's car. I never got to experience that before. I did like it when Nadi turned into a puppy for a little while after she

my dog certainly doesn't seem to. If anything I think she is more excited when I come back from going to the corner store than she is after I have been out all day. Perhaps she gets too tired on the long

By Virginia do you mean UVA? That's a tough school to get into. or so I thought.

I recall paying quite a lot for lemons when I was younger but the place I lived at that time had a winter. In these places that don't really have a real winter I guess these things just grow like mad year

i just read that lemon trees are more resilient than lime trees for anywhere that ever gets cold. lime trees will die, lemon can withstand it better. Lemon trees are also significantly larger. I think
