I'm jealous if you have access to large poopy walk areas. I am sure that Nadi would be in heaven.

Well in the past at the places where pets are not allowed unless the security guy is wearing the official green and red official police uniform I have found that just ignorning them and continuing to walk

I think that they are paid off or something because when "parks" do get built they end up just being overgrown with unkempt grass and pretty soon after that, just filled up with garbage. Then

I haven't been out that way in a while but since I haven't learned the language and I am not going to learn it, I believe living out there could be quite difficult. It's worth looking into again though

yeah, me too. I don't know what we will do once this one is gone... I probably care more about it than Nadi does.

the streets are normally lined with trees but I think this is just a consolation prize of sorts to create the illusion of nature. It is nice that at least people can park their motorbikes on the sidewalk

Yes... the taxi drivers, who are notorious for doing whatever the hell they feel like doing in most developing countries, are terrified of the fines. The police don't mess about over here. If you FAFO,

and what country is that?

It really does function better (and faster) when everyone just does the right thing. Thailand is filled with "me first, me only" drivers and this not only results in bad accidents but it has

as far as casual tourism is concerned, Thailand is probably better equipped for it and has scenery that is far more "special" than Vietnam. Vietnam is very crowded, everywhere. It's tough to
