These are some hard questions to answer as I am not the best when it comes to crypto or financial analysis. I am more of a gamer myself who ventures into the cryptospace with play to earn in mind. 😅

I think the hype will stay as long as the project is profitable, but I truly wonder if it is truly sustainable in the long term with how crazy the game-related tokens, AXS and SLP, are spiking up in the last few days.

They admitted that the server is overloaded weeks ago. They said server upgrade is in progress...and then there's no update until now. The stable is unstable and connection errors are common in the past few weeks. They were also under DDos attacks for several times for...I don't know, people trying to cut the hype?

I don't have a lot of knowledge about kryptokitties. I assume it went hot for a bit and then slowed down and couldn't go back to its glory? I started following Axie since last December and their Axies and SLP are just going up in price with no sign of going down. Axie was $70 and SLP was $0.03 by then. Binance release on April brought the figure to $100 and $0.08. And the recent surge was due to the opening of Ronin and eliminating gas fee. Land gameplay was scheduled for release on Q4 this year and they are also developing battle v2. That's the two "main features" in development. I guess they could keep being hot if both are well done.
