Before entering the crypto world, I dabbled around in a lot of communities on the internet. I particularly enjoyed player sim leagues where you can create a player and have a virtually simulated career in a fictional universe.
I had to cut out my activity from them to do more things in the crypto world, but I think it's also important to appreciate a place where I enjoyed before. I also didn't do much in their previous charity drives as I was too poor to do much. Crypto had provided me with a better financial situation and I think it's important to give back and tribute that to the world.
Thus, I went back to my first league Pro Baseball Experience for their latest charity drive and I wanted to contribute on it. And what's a better way to contribute it with some Pegaxy action?
I made a post in the PBE forum outlining my plan a few days go and the pega is now ready to go.
Another thing I really like about NFT and metaverse is that I can tribute to the things I want in a virtual space. There are a lot of ways to do a tribute, like some people have meaningful tattoos on their body as a tribute to some special things in their life. I see NFTs as a way for me to have a little tribute to things I like in this world.
Dear Emi is my tribute to the charity event and more importantly, to Emi,
a respected sim league memebr who was taken away too soon from this world due to cancer.
I will be racing 'Dear Emi' myself and all the VIS I earned from now until the end of the charity drive will be donated. It sure is fun to run for charity, even virtually.
